Creatine monohydrate supplementation has been shown to significantly boost muscle strength, power, and size during high intensity activities such as strength training. Creatine is naturally produced in the body and is found in many foods including meat, eggs, and fish.
Creatine monohydrate is the most effective form of creatine to use. Loading for 5-7 days is optional and may be beneficial. To load, consume approximately 25-grams of creatine monohydrate per day (based on a bodyweight of 180-lbs) spread across 4-5 servings per day of 5-grams. After 5 days 2.5-5-grams daily will suffice.
